James Manley Blakemore
Not to be confused with the James Manley Blakemore who is Charles’ brother and the link to the Corinaldi story. This one is Charles’ son by his second marriage and the link to Olive (who Andy remembers visiting near the station in Warwick) . No idea where the Manley comes from – it sounds like a mother’s maiden name but not one I’ve seen.
Is probably the Roy Blakemore dercibed by Bill as owning a double fronted sweet shop on Johns Coton End, Warwick

Like the other two of Charles’ sons he joins the army, is stationed at Budbrook but then becomes a grocer; potentially supplying the army??
b 29/5/66, second child of Charles & Emily. 1871 and 1881 with parents – Thimble maker in the latter.
1891 single, at Budbrook Barracks; marries Mary Hannah Woodward 26/12/1893 (she was a servan in Lillington, Leamington in 1891)
1901 at 17 Barrack St, Warwick a Shop Keeper
1911 at 50 Coventry Road, Provision Dealer with 5 children (including Olive) and mother in law.
Died 6/4/1917 at 50, buried in Warwick Cemetrery – insert burial slip. Left a will so was pretty well-to-do – £372 4s 6d to Mary Hannah
1939 Mary, Olive & two children (Brenda Bicknell & ??) were at 5 Station Avenue; Olive an Agricultural Engineer’s cashier. Was Brenda a niece / gd or refugee / evacuee or what? Only other daughter died 16 so probably not a relation.
Mary died 20/9/43 leaving £1068 to Alive and son Reginald. She was living at 5 Station Avenue; Olive stayed there.
